Fast update, guys! I would like to tell you about Kaaba.

The Kaaba (Arabicالكعبة‎‎ al-Kaʿbah IPA: [alˈkaʕba], "The Cube") also referred as Al Kaaba Al Musharrafah (The Holy Kaaba), is a building at the center of Islam's most sacred mosqueAl-Masjid al-Haram, in Meccaal-HejazSaudi Arabia. It is the most sacred Muslim site in the world. It is considered the "House of Allah". Wherever they are in the world, Muslims are expected to face the Kaaba when performing salat (prayer). From any point in the world, the direction facing the Kaaba is called the qibla.

The sanctuary around the Kaaba is called Al-Masjid al-Haram (Sacred Mosque). The Masjid al-Ḥarām (Arabicالمسجد الحرام‎‎, literally "the sacred mosque"), also called the Sacred Mosque, and the Grand Mosque or Great Mosque of Mecca, is the largest mosque in the world and surrounds Islam's holiest place, the Kaaba, in the city of MeccaSaudi Arabia.

Al-Hejaz, also Al-Hijaz (Arabicالحجاز‎‎, al-Ḥiǧāz, literally “the Barrier”), is a region in the west of present-day Saudi Arabia. The region is so called as it separates the land of the Najd in the east from the land of Tihamahin the west. It is also known as the “Western Province.” It is bordered on the west by the Red Sea, on the north by Jordan, on the east by the Najd, and on the south by Asir. Its main city is Jeddah, but it is probably better known for the Islamic holy cities of Mecca and Medina

Mecca (/ˈmɛkə/) or Makkah (Arabicمكة‎‎ Makkah) is a city in the Hejaz in Saudi Arabia. It is the capital of that kingdom's Makkah RegionAs the alleged birthplace of Muhammad and the site of Muhammad's first revelation of the Quran (specifically, a cave 3 km (2 mi) from Mecca), Mecca is regarded as the holiest city in the religion of Islam and a pilgrimage to it known as the Hajj isobligatory for all able Muslims. Mecca is home to the Kaaba, by majority description Islam's holiest site, as well as being thedirection of Muslim prayer

PARTS OF KAABA

  1. Al-Ħajaru al-Aswad, "the Black Stone", is located on the Kaaba's eastern corner. Its northern corner is known as the Ruknu l-ˤĪrāqī, "the Iraqi corner", its western as the Ruknu sh-Shāmī, "the Levantine corner", and its southern as Ruknu l-Yamanī, "the Yemeni corner". The four corners of the Kaaba roughly point toward the four cardinal directions of the compass. Its major (long) axis is aligned with the rising of the star Canopustoward which its southern wall is directed, while its minor axis (its east-west facades) roughly align with the sunrise of summer solstice and the sunset of winter solstice.
  2. The entrance is a door set 2.13 m (7 ft) above the ground on the north-eastern wall of the Kaaba, which acts as the façade. In 1979 the 300 kg gold doors made by chief artist Ahmad bin Ibrahim Badr, replaced the old silver doors made by his father, Ibrahim Badr in 1942. There is a wooden staircase on wheels, usually stored in the mosque between the arch-shaped gate of Banū Shaybah and the Zamzam Well.
  3. Meezab-i Rahmat, rainwater spout made of gold. Added in the rebuilding of 1627 after the previous year's rain caused three of the four walls to collapse.
  4. Gutter, added in 1627 to protect the foundation from groundwater.
  5. Hatim (also romanized as hateem), a low wall originally part of the Kaaba. It is a semi-circular wall opposite, but not connected to, the north-west wall of the Kaaba known as the hatīm. This is 90 cm (35 in) in height and 1.5 m (4.9 ft) in width, and is composed of white marble. At one time the space lying between the hatīm and the Kaaba belonged to the Kaaba itself, and for this reason it is not entered during the tawaf.
  6. Al-Multazam, the roughly 2 meter space along the wall between the Black Stone and the entry door. It is sometimes considered pious or desirable for a hajji to touch this area of the Kaaba, or perform dua here.
  7. The Station of Abraham (Maqam Ibrahim), a glass and metal enclosure with what is said to be an imprint of Abraham's feet. Abraham is said to have stood on this stone during the construction of the upper parts of the Kaaba, raising Ismail on his shoulders for the uppermost parts.
  8. Corner of the Black Stone (East).
  9. Corner of Yemen (South-West). Pilgrims traditionally acknowledge a large vertical stone that forms this corner.
  10. Corner of Syria (North-West).
  11. Corner of Iraq (North-East). This inside corner, behind a curtain, contains the Babut Taubah, Door of Repentance, which leads to a staircase to the roof.
  12. Kiswah, the embroidered covering. Kiswa is a black silk and gold curtain which is replaced annually during the Hajj pilgrimage. Two-thirds of the way up is a band of gold-embroidered Quranic text, including the Shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith.
  13. Marble stripe marking the beginning and end of each circumambulation.
  14. The station of Gabriel.

That's all brief information about Kaaba! See you on my next post, guys!

Sincerely,

Prince Rai

Okay! I will serious, now!

Hello again, guys! Fast new post from me right? Are you miss me? No? I’m the Prince, so everyone must miss me! :v #justkidding

In this post, I would like to tell you my experience during Megantara. Briefly explanation, Megantara is a cultural festival that held on 10th of September this year and the organizer of the event is my school, SMAN 3 Bandung. On Megantara, there were so many cultural performance, because it was cultural festival.

Well… I end up copying again from my friend’s blog, Udin. Don’t misunderstand, lads and lasses! I just copied the picture because I couldn’t copy picture from LINE in PC. I can’t use my handphone to write blog there because it is too risky (I just don’t have the blog app like Udin. I don’t want to use the browser on my phone to write blog because the chance to lose data is very high). For Udin, don’t worry! I will write the source and promote you in the on of this post! But, I ended up to read Udin’s post and not do my work ==”

Ok ok… I will do my blog. Let’s start the story, then!

… Ummm…

… Errr…

… Honestly, I am feeling confused right now because I don’t know where should I start the story…

Calm down!

… Ok.

Megantara was held at Lapangan Bali. As you can see on the poster picture up there, the gate opened at 10 AM. But, I had to go there at 6 AM because there would be parade at 06:30 AM. We would go parade in kebaya outfit, a Sundanese traditional outfit. But, unfortunately, my kebaya was dirty and my Mom still not wash it. I almost not join the parade but luckily, Udin lend me her kebaya. I saved and still could join the parade.

During the parade, the girls on my class and some other girls from the other class shouted to promote Megantara. At first, I didn’t want to join. In the end, I ended up join them and be the loudest. I turned out to lead the promotion, too :v Here the words that we said in our promotion:

“FESTIVAL MEGANTARA!” (Megantara Festival!)

“DAM DAM DAM DAMDAM!”

“SMA NEGERI 3!” (3 Public Senior High School!)

“DAM DAM DAM DAMDAM!”

“TEMPATNYA LAPANG BALI!” (The venue at Bali Field!)

“DAM DAM DAM DAMDAM!”

“HARINYA HARI INI!” (The day is this day!)

All people watched us. The committee also recorded our action. There was one of the committee, and he is the senior, joined us and pursued the others to join our action, too. It was so fun! I really enjoyed to shout until my throat felt hoarse.

After the parade ended, I hurriedly changed my clothes to the casual one. Really… Wore samping was a real pain. It was hard to walk  while wearing that and I couldn’t run freely. But, samping is still a traditional outfit that I respect. Maybe I just didn’t match to wear it.

I said before that the gate opened at 10 AM, right? Well, the reality was the gate opened at 11 AM ==” I and Udin killed time by chatting and watched our friends that would join the fashion show while they were being make up. Then, because I was hungry, I and Udin had searched for food first before we entered the gate. There was Nisrina that accompanied us, too.

After we ate, we ware chatting while waited for the gate to open. Yeah, it wasn’t that long until the gate opened. When we entered the gate, I and Udin separated with Nisrina. But, I met with my other friends from IPS class, Nita and Lia. We had fun there (Didn’t mention the part that I always played around with those two. Nita reacted panic and Lia slapped my face or punched my hand). We watched many perfomance like singing, traditional dance, Angklung, etc. All of those perfomance were so cool and beautiful!

Oh! Almost forgot! Before I met Nita and Lia, I was getting caught by the MCs. They though that I was dating with Udin. But, one of the MCs noticed that I’m a girl. I knew that I’m tomboy, but I didn’t think that one of the MCs would fall for my trap appearance. Udin ran away. That kid… She is betrayal ==” The MCs interviewed me and I was so embarrassed!

I went to Ghost House there with Lia and Udin. At first, Nita wanted to join, but she was too scared and canceled her wished to come to the Ghost House. I felt… Errr… Nothing when I entered the Ghost House. I didn’t know why Lia screamed so loud because she scared and desperately clinged to me. She looked cute like this but when we outed from the Ghost House, she acted tough and punched my hand again. For Udin, I thought that she didn’t scared. She just felt surprised. She screamed, but not hysterically like Lia.

In the middle of event,I separated with Udin. But, I met with my other friends and the seniors that I knew. We went crazy at that event.

The peak of the event was when the night came. There was T'ST, one of extracurricular in my school that performed theater. They were very funny! I didn’t know the title of their drama performance because I didn’t hear well enough, but the story was about technology versus traditional and the love story between Joker and… I forgot the name of the character that in loved with Joker. I just knew that she got friendzone with Joker.

After T'ST performance, there were The Changcuters and Ran. I didn’t know about Indonesia song, so I didn’t really understand about what happened when both bands perform at the stage. I just saw the performance from far away, because I don’t like crowd. In the middle of Ran performance, I went home because I felt tired.

The end of the story! I know it is boring, but thank you for all of you that visit my (uninteresting) blog! Don’t forget to visit my friend blog! http://faradindarh.blogspot.co.id/

That’s all from me for now. See you on next post, guys!

WTTF!

Hello, guys! Prince is back! It’s been a long time since my last post. In this post, I would like to tell you my experience during WTTF.

Ok! So, before I start the story, I want to tell you briefly about WTTF. What is WTTF? WTTF is an abbreviation from World Tournament x Techno Festival. It is an event that held annually by my school, SMAN 3 Bandung (3 Senior High School in Bandung), only for grade X and XI.

Before I make the story, I read my friend’s blog first to recall my memory. Here the summary about WTTF that I copied from my friend’s blog. Of course, my friend wasn’t the person that made the summary. She copied it from LINE official account of Event SMAN 3 Bandung. Don’t worry, I will write my friend’s blog as the source. For now, let’s read the summary and then we can conclude from the summary about what WTTF is.

In the "Belitung Barat" galaxy, there are two planets, BB32018 and BB32019🔭🌌 Both of them have never encountered before. One day, they received an invitation to visit the planet O633🌓

Then, both of BB32018 and BB32019 accepted the invitation. Unfortunately, along the way, they got attacked by an unknown creature👽👾. BB32018🚀 and BB32019🚀 eventually united and tried their best to escape the unknown creature💪🔥💀

When BB32018 & BB32019 were trying to fight the creature, it announced something📣

Attention citizen of 32018 and 32019! We're here to challenge you on the tournament you've never experienced before!👊👊
Prepare your team for facing the awesome, cool, and unique games from all around the galaxy!🌞🌚🌎

Get ready for World Tournament and
Techno Fest 2016!🚀

The battle was full of obstacles. But this battle is what made BB32018🚀 & BB32019🚀 feel the need to become united👥🏁

In less than 24hours you'll wander around the BB galaxy! Pack your bags, prepare yourselves and don't forget to bring your ammunition because it will be the battle you'll never forget!💀

Although we have to fight the alien in the summary, but still… The reality is all grade X, or SMAN 3’s student usually called it as 32019 had to beat grade XI or 32018. But, let’s talk about it later. Spoiler isn’t fun, is it?

Can you conclude the summary by yourself? What? You can’t? Because Prince is nice and likes to help the others, Prince will conclude it for you! Be happy because you get help from The Great Prince Rai! Hahaha! :v #plak!

Just kidding, lads and lasses! I don’t want to make the story too monotone!

So, the conclusion is we just have to travel around galaxy to play the games and beat the aliens. But, I want to add something that didn’t mention in the event’s summary. In reality, based on my experience, we had to beat 32018 first before we got united to beat the aliens. There was something that we fought for. I will tell you later in my story.

Okay, I think it’s enough! Briefly explanation about WTTF is done! Yeaaaayyy! >ῳ<
Now, we can move to the story. Hope you enjoy, guys!

A long time ago, there was a Prince that born in-

Huh? Wrong script? Sorry! I will serious now!

This year, WTTF was held on 20th of August 2016. At first, I didn’t know anything about this event, even the name of the event. I just knew that my school would hold an event with OSIS (student council) as the organizer. I thought before,’I’m too lazy to go to school… I just want to have a nice date with my homework…’ But, if I didn’t come to school, my physical education and English lesson’s score would get minus. Plus, I’m a good student, so I didn’t want to skip class.

At 06:30, 32019 and 32018 all gathered in Lapangan Bali (Bali Field). At there, 32019 and 32018 diveded to… I don’t know how many groups. I didn’t pay a lot of attention during the event, but I try my best here to tell you based on my point of view.

The system of grouping here was in one group there would be one class from 32019 and one class from 32018 with determined based by the class number. For example, I’m in class X MIPA 3 and got grouped with XI MIPA 3. XI MIPA 3 would be my class opponent during the game, but we would be united during war with the aliens.

After grouping session, my group met with our mentors that would guide us all along the game. Our mentors had told us the rules that we should obey during the event before the event started. I didn’t hear the rules because the volume of one of my group’s mentors’s voice who told the rules was too small. I just heard that during the event, we must spoke English or half English. Oh! Our mentors mentioned about the name of the event, too. At first, everyone in my class heard WTTF as ‘WTF’! Okay, WTF is considered as a rude word, so I wouldn’t continue about this topic. Let’s put it behind.

After that, we went to school’s corridor. But, before we moved to school, I realized that my class opponent, XI MIPA 3, was full with girls! :v There was no boys. Our mentors asked XI MIPA 3 girls,”Where are the boys student from your class? They wouldn’t come?” And XI MIPA 3 girls answered in unison,”They’re too lazy to come, Senior!” Fortunately, one boy from that class came to the event although he was late. But, it was hilarious to see one boy surrounded by many girls :v

When we arrived, each groups got the clues paper from their own mentors. But, before each groups got the clues paper, student council have talked something but I didn’t know what. I was going to the toilet with my friend (Yeah, the one that I read the blog), let’s call her Udin (because it is a nickname that I use to call her :v), while student council shared the clues paper to the mentors of each groups. Thank’s to that, I and Udin nearly got left by my group! TT ^ TT How cruel they are! Forgot us and just left us behind! I felt relieved because I and Udin could catch up our group.

‘3. Centuuri is our name and our pride’

That was the first clue. I bet you confuse right now! Why is it start from no. 3, not no.1? It is because my group has number class 3! My group got confused too at first because they head on to the place with wrong clue. They solved no.1 clue first. Luckily, the place was still in school area and our mentors helped us solving the clue. They guided us back to the corridor and… The first game started in class XI MIPA 1 that located in corridor ==” If we knew that more sooner, we shouldn’t wandering around and wasting our energy TT^TT

At XI MIPA 1, we played TEKKEN! If you don’t know what TEKKEN is… Oh… Seriously, guys… That game is a legend! You have to search on google!

Actually, every places that every groups were heading, changed into galaxy name, but I don’t remember. Sorry, guys. I can’t tell you.

We played three rounds. It meaned there was three delegations that choosed from each class. The winner of first round was my class, but the rest was winned by XI MIPA 3. One of the committees there challenged my group to had one bonus round. One of my classmates accepted the challenge and won. But, my class still lost because bonus round didn’t count. The score still 1-2 and our opponent got prize. That was a piece of puzzle, made by styrofoam with an unknow picture. That was what we fought for. We had to collect many puzzles, as many as we could.

‘4. We create art that you feel with your ears’

Next clue and my group could solve it fast. It was Taman Musik (Music Park). Honestly, I forgot about the clue and just copied it from Udin's blog. For Udin, if you read this, it’s okay! I will promote your blog! And for my teacher, don’t worry, Miss. I’m not copying.

Errr… If I’m not mistaken… Taman Musik changed name to… Mars... maybe. And I didn’t even know what game that we played there. I just knew that my class won the game. Because I don’t want to leave the story uncompleted, I will use Udin’s blog as my guide. Based on Udin’s blog, we played ‘Rank 2nd’. To win this game, we should be rank 2nd, not be the 1st. Udin wrote on her blog that Faza, our classmate, won the game. She really was paying attention to the game while I day-dreamed.

‘5. Even tho I'm small and isolated, I'm green and loud when you talk’

For this clue, our group didn’t get anything on our mind. So, our mentors guided us again to bangsal, or in English… Ummm… I don’t know… Bangsal is like an indoor badminton place. Bangsal located at Lapangan Bali. We played PES there. At first, there were 5 girls from each class as delegations, and I was the part of the delegations, too. Oh! I wanted to tell you why all of the delegations were girls and not boys! It was because… Yeah… You know… Our opponent was full of girls and just had one boy, so the committee gave an exception to our group.

Although there were 5 delegations, just 1 delegation played the game, and that delegation is my friend whose name is Ami. With guided from my class’s boys student, Ami could play the game very well and the result was DRAW! Yeah, it was better than nothing, wasn’t it? Each class got a piece of puzzle. But, the other delegations couldn’t play the game because the time was up. It made me a bit sad, but there were still a lot of games that I could play.

‘6. Like a dessert, I'm dry but i create lots of the champion on the right’

In no time, our group moved to the soccer field in Lapangan Bali. Not really the soccer field, but the edge of the soccer field. We played Flappy Bird there.

Based on Udin’s blog, there was 10 delegations from each class and each persons would play the Flappy Bird game on the handphone for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, the player had to hand the handphone to the other player. Each class had to gain points as much as they could. But, during the game, there were accidents that happened to each class. I forgot about what occurred back then, but I just knew that my class was the winner.

‘7. Like a dessert, I'm dry but i create lots of the champion on the left’

Okay! We finally moved to the soccer field! We played game that called… I don’t know the name of the game :”v I just know how to play the game. First, we had to beat our opponent by taking the cloth that tied to each player wrist. Second, each class had Queen. FYI, I was the Queen in this game! But, after that, Udin mocked me by called me ‘Queen’ instead Prince. Luckily, it wasn’t long and she called me Prince again (Maybe I threaten her? I forgot why she didn’t mock me again. Well, she was just joking :v)

Third, If one of the Queens could take the other Queen’s cloth, they won. Fourth, exception for our group, a few boys from my class would help the opponent. All of you already know why.

Fifth, the game would play for fifteen minutes. If each classes Queen still couldn’t take the opponent cloth when the game ended, the result would be determined by how much the knight (I want to write ‘subordinate’, but I think it was too cruel :v #DOR!) could took the opponent’s cloth. The last, knights could protect their own Queen from the opponent’s Queen, but couldn’t attack the opponent Queen.

While the game, I turned to be so aggressive. But, I hesitated to use full strength because I didn’t want to hurt girl.

The result was my class lost. The opponent could take 10 clothes from my army, just one difference from mine. There were my classmates that shouted,’Betrayal,’ to the boys student who helped the opponent, but after that all of us laughed.

‘8. Like a ping pong table, only bigger. Oh and i have rings’

The answer of the clue was basketball court. Okay, honestly, I didn’t take a peek to the clue when came to Lapangan Bali. I just followed my group. But, like I said before, I didn’t want to leave my story uncompleted.

I didn’t know what they played. I didn’t pay attention and lost on my thought. I didn’t even know the result. I just knew it was some kind of quiz game that the theme was related to technology and Ariq, my classmate, was the delegation from my class. Udin’s wrote on his blog that the result was draw… again.

I can’t tell you much about this game, so let’s move to the next clue!

‘9. I was born before photography’

It seemed everyone knew the answer except me and Udin. The answer was Taman Tongkeng (Tongkeng Park). It located a bit far from my school and Lapangan Bali. That was the first time I knew about Taman Foto. While in the way to Taman Foto, I and Udin were talking to our mentors. We disobeyed the rule that we had to speak English or half English. The mentors were disobeyed it too :v. We talked about many things and I couldn’t mention all of them.

We arrived at Taman Foto and we played a game that used our creativity. Each class had to build a robot from cardboard and other materials that the committees gave us. We made cat robot and we named it as Kenny Cat. Well, we named it that because the face that we made for the robot looked like our classmate, Kenny. Fortunate he wasn’t come. We won the game and got a chance to attack the aliens. I wasn’t the one who hunted, but we could manage to hit the aliens.

I forgot to mentioned it, but before the game started, each groups was given some ammunition (The ammunition was a balloon water) for attack the aliens. We had to carry the ammunition. One of the ammunition had to leak while our group played Flying Bird. We hurriedly searched for bandage and patched it to the one of the ammunition that had small hole.
’10. I make art from lights’

Again, everyone knew the answer was Taman Foto (Photo Park) and again, it was the first time I and Udin heard that place. When we arrived at there, it already break time. We had ate first before continue to the next game.

Break time over, we played twister. Well, I didn’t watch this one and instead, I and Udin chatted and sang with Ami. So, I didn’t know the result.

We went back to Lapangan Bali for the last game and the peak of the event was we went to beat up the aliens! The soccer field was in chaos. Really… They were so high spirit to beat the aliens. How sad that I couldn’t join because I was out of ammunition. I just gave a task to protect the piece of puzzle because if the aliens could hit their opponent, they could took the opponent’s piece of puzzle.

After that chaos, the committees gave 32019 and 32018 a task to combine the puzzle with limited time. Yeah, it fought between 32019 and 32018. I didn’t join combine the puzzle because they were said that only a few delegations from each class that combined the puzzle. But, at the end... 32019 WON!!!

It was really fun experience. I didn’t have any regret. After that, I had another business first so I didn’t go straight to home.

I think it is enough for now! I’m sorry for so many grammar error TT^TT

See you later on my next post, guys!

Sincerely,

Prince Rai
